Spain's Perfumes y Diseño, a global company specialising in medium- to high-end perfumes and cosmetics, increased its turnover by 42% in 2022 to €92 million.

The company thereby broke its sales record for the second year in a row, closing 2021 with sales of €65 million, its highest turnover to date.

By the end of 2022, all the brands in Perfume y Diseño's portfolio "grew significantly by more than 40%". According to the company, "Tous Perfumes and Halloween Perfumes have established themselves as leaders both in the domestic market and in many international markets" in which they operate.

Meanwhile, three of the company's most recent additions, namely El Ganso Perfumes, Scalpers Perfumes and Nightology, "have established themselves" in the brand portfolio of the multinational company headed by Pedro Trólez.

"Following recent world events, Perfumes y Diseño has designed a key strategy that reinforces the basic pillars on which the company is built: the people who make up the organisation, its partners as key players, demonstrating familiarity and adaptability, and the high-quality perfumes we create, which are highly appreciated by consumers", said the company.

Perfumes y Diseño has also highlighted the implementation of its sustainability plan. Its first phase is due to be completed in 2023.

The company was founded in 1998 and specialises in the creation, development and international distribution of fragrances, as well as the distribution of exclusive cosmetics. Its offer includes its own brands (Tous Perfumes, Halloween Perfumes, El Ganso Perfumes, Scalpers Perfumes, Starck Paris and Nightology) and other third-party brands it distributes, such as Goutal Paris, Juliette Has a Gun, Moschino, Missoni, Versace, Cartier and Ahava.

In 2021, the company acquired a minority stake in the contemporary tailoring firm Oteyza. With this deal, and after having discontinued its involvement with the iconic Spanish firm Delpozo, the company re-entered the fashion segment.
