Landsec announces Nike Unite debut at Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays

Nike is to open a Nike Unite location at the Landsec-operated Gunwharf Quays outlet shopping centre in Portsmouth in the spring.

The banner, which is the sportswear giant’s community-focused concept that helps connect people with sport, is actually part of  a Nike upsizing programme at the waterfront destination. It will see the retailer moving from its 8,570 sq ft store to a new 11,160 sq ft space to incorporate Nike Unite, creating “new in-and-out-of-store experiences that celebrate sport and the local community.  .

At the new-look store, Nike said guests will be “welcomed by an in-store community wall highlighting the store team and local partnerships, as well as local landmarks and hometown athletes to help local residents feel represented in the space”.
