Italy’s MSGM to open debut UK store

Italian luxury brand MSGM is the latest international designer company to venture into the UK retail market with a first store in London.

The brand will take up residence in a 2,000-square-foot store at 278 Brompton Cross, adjacent to coveted retailers including Acne, Philip Lim, Carven, Iro and Maje in the trendy Chelsea area.

Other brands with a presence in the neighbourhood include Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Stella McCartney.
Spreading over a ground floor and basement, the store will join a growing number of MSGM stores around the world including Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul.

MSGM is a brand best known for its kaleidoscopic prints and cutting-edge styling. It has quickly made a name for itself since its creation in 2009 by Massimo Giorgetti in partnership with The Paoloni Group, expanding particularly in Asia.

“MSGM has undergone exceptional growth over the last few years and we are delighted its first UK store will be at Brompton Cross,” said Tiffany Luckett, associate director in the Central London retail team at Savills.

“This is testament to the success of the area and its reputation as a renowned destination for luxury brands.”
