First edition of Scoop London to take place during LFW

London-based fashion tradeshow Scoop will be excited and perhaps a bit apprehensive this weekend, as the inaugural edition of Scoop London starts.

Scoop recently held its regular edition, on August 2-4, but is now gearing up for the launch of the first-ever Scoop London. It takes place during Fashion Week, which may attract more buyers. Scoop London has teamed up with the BFC, so that all accredited buyers registered for Scoop London, as well as for the established August edition of Scoop, will be approved for entry to the Designer Showrooms of London Fashion Week.

There will also be free transport between the venues. Brands showing at Scoop London include LemLem, Three Dots, A.B., Binetti, Romy & Ray, Masscob, Ivan Grundahl, Ancient Greek Sandals, Bella Freud, Kate Spade, Alice + Olivia, ThreeFloor London, Lily and Lionel, Vivienne Westwood Silks, Pistol Panties and more.

It remains to be seen if there is space on people's calendar for another tradeshow, and if buyers can be tempted by new lines this late in the season.

Scoop London runs from 20 to 22 September.
