The men's label Bluemarble has just opened its first pop-up store in Paris, at 98 rue de Turenne in the heart of the Marais in Paris, close to its studio. Until May 7, the label is opening its doors to present its new spring-summer 2023 collection, in a 50 square metre space.

Pop-up store Bluemarble, 98 rue de Turenne - Bluemarble

For the occasion, the brand's creative director Anthony Alvarez, who created Bluemarble, has returned to his favourite neighbourhood to meet with his community. He was inspired by his summer memories and his passion for extreme sports such as surfing and skateboarding, as well as the 1967 Monterrey festival.

A holiday vibe

The shop offers a playful experience and a recreational and summery universe. The interior is decorated with blue scaffolding, with a Bluemarble sign, as well as a surf shack made from recycled steel plates and resin. In the centre of the shop there is also a skateboard ramp.

The founder has created a collection that is both intimate and bubbly, with a bohemian and urban feel. Infused with memories of his holidays in California, it includes oversized sweatshirts, psychedelic ensembles, floral cargo trousers and Hawaiian shirts with a paisley print. The collection can be found at the pop-up store, as well as the Bon Marché, Printemps and on the 24S e-shop.

Currently a Woolmark Prize finalist, Anthony Alvarez will present his new collection at Paris Fashion Week for Men, which runs from June 20 to 25. Founded in 2019, the Parisian label interprets travel and different cultures in each of its collections.
