Designer : Jason Wu Atmosphere : a long aisle of lighted cylinders, in all the colours. Jason Wu was inspired by David Hockney and his series of swimming pools whilst searching for simplicity and a relaxed attitude. Silhouette : Colour at the heart of the collection. Even on the pant-suit which took on a more sportswear form. Focus on : the camouflage of flowers which seemed to bloom on the tops & dresses, all with lightness and transparency. To note : the new models of bags, which were numerous during the show & the return of Sasha Pivovarova on the catwalk. Interview with Jason Wu: I feel like this a good time to have a little fun, be relaxed, you know, let go and just be happy.Well I think in today’s world there are so many clothes out there, that when you’re making something that is more elevated, the making and the craftsmanship is the most important thing. You know, when you’ve spent money on something, you’re making sure that the customer is getting something that is very qualitative, beautifully made and very detailed.
