Spaletto most recently served as global president of The North Face brand at VF Corp where he’s held the position since 2011. He joined VF Corp in 1998 as a national sales manager, and later as vice president of sales at Jansport. In 2003, he left the handbag brand to join The North Face where he would spend the next 14 years as a sales director for North America, and later vice-president of sales, before serving as global president for the $2.3 billion brand.

“Todd is one of the best brand builders in the industry with a proven track record as a growth driver and strategic thought leader,” says Blake Krueger, Wolverine Worldwide’s Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President.

Meanwhile, Jim Zwiers, who’s been with the company for 19 years, has also been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president. Zwiers will lead the company’s key strategic transformation initiatives including its new strategic platform, the Wolverine Way Forward.

In Wolverine Worldwide’s last quarter, the footwear brand expected fiscal 2016 revenue to be $2,475 to $2,575 billion, down 4.3 to 8 percent from the previous fiscal year.
