VF Corp elects Carol L. Roberts and Benno Dorer as directors

VF Corporation announced on Tuesday that International Paper SVP and CFO Carol L. Roberts and Clorox CEO Benno Dorer have been elected to the Board of Directors, effective February 14, 2017. Roberts will serve on the Finance and Audit Committees and Dorer will serve on the Audit, and Nominating and Governance Committees.

 
Roberts spent 36 years at International Paper and held numerous leadership roles with increasing responsibility at the company. The Yale graduate also serves on the Board of Directors of Alcoa Corporation and on the Yale University Presidents Advisory Council. She will retire from International Paper at the end of March.

Dorer joined Clorox in 2005 and held roles of increasing scope and responsibility. He was named CEO in November 2014 and was also named Chairman of the Board in August 2016.
The University of Freiburg in Germany graduate also spent 14 years at Procter & Gamble in various marketing roles.
