MySale Group appoints non executive director

AIM-listed flash sales company MySale has appointed Charles Butler as a new independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Butler was until recently chief executive officer of Camden Market owner Market Tech Holdings, where he spent more than three years. He oversaw its successful IPO in 2014 and its recent sale for £892 million to LabTech Investments Limited.

Prior to joining Market Tech, Butler was group chief executive of NetPlat TV, an AIM-listed UK interactive TV gaming company. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and has worked in a number of international regions including the Australian retail sector.

MySale CEO Carl Jackson said: ''We are delighted to welcome Charles to the board. His extensive experience in growing online and digital businesses shall be a valuable asset as we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plans.''

MySale is an international online retailer with flash sales sites in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the UK. The group owns brands such as MySale, DealsDirect and Cocosa.
