Mack Weldon to launch men's lifestyle accessories category

Digital menswear brand Mack Weldon is expanding its assortment with the introduction of its new Ion Series of men's lifestyle bags and accessories which will launch this spring.

The debut collection includes a wallet, a weekender bag, a travel kit, smart-compatible gloves, a hat and a convertible backpack. The collection is designed to offer men versatile lifestyle options in the category which tends to focus on either formal office or rugged outdoor utility.

Features include an antimicrobial lining, waterproof zip closures and an RFID-blocking security enhanced wallet. The weekender, backpack and wallet have a high-performance mobile charger that works for iPhones and Android.

Matthew Congdon, Vice President of Design at Mack Weldon said, "We noticed the current market lacks bags that balance form and function." Congdon said the Ion collection is a lifestyle range designed to take the wearer from work to gym and beyond.

Brian Berger, Founder and CEO of Mack Weldon said, "The Ion Series [of accessories] is... the latest addition to our promise of improving the most important, and often overlooked, items that power our lives."

The collection ranges in price from $28 to $148. The charger-equipped wallet is $68 and the weekender bag and backpack are $148 each. The collection will become available early 2018, exclusively on Mack Weldon's e-commerce site.
