Jack & Jones expands its retail presence in Barcelona with new store
Jack & Jones expands its footprint in Barcelona. The menswear brand launched on 4 October its sixth store in the city, located at La Maquinista shopping centre.
The new store occupies a space of 330 square metres and has generated 15 new jobs. Its creation involved an investment of approximately 500,000 euros ($592,000).
Showcasing a new image and store concept, the new space offers the brand’s Vintage, Premium and Premium Tech collections with garments specially designed for sports and outdoor activities.
Founded in 1975 in Denmark, Jack & Jones has more than 100 stores in Spain, and over 1,000 in Europe. In Catalonia, the brand has six stores in Barcelona, one in Tarragona and two in Reus.
Jack & Jones is part of Danish fashion group Bestseller, which owns more than 20 brands including Vero Moda and Selected.
In the financial year ended July 2016, the group recorded profits of 273 million euros, with sales rising 5% to 3.07 billion euros.
