Bestseller puts Jesper Reismann in charge of womenswear label Vero Moda
From 1st March 2018, Jesper Reismann will take charge of the Vero Moda brand, one of the Bestseller group's womenswear labels.
The Danish apparel giant has appointed a genuine specialist in fashion retailing. Jesper Reismann built a 20-year career at German department store chain Peek & Cloppenburg, reaching the position of General Manager and establishing a working relationship with the Bestseller organisation over the course of many years. "For the greater part of my professional life, Bestseller has played a key role, as a first-rate partner when I worked in purchasing, and as a major competitor too," said Jesper Reismann.
Reismann will oversee the entire business of the Danish group's leading label, Vero Moda. Founded in 1987, Vero Moda is distributed via a host of major multibrand retailers, through 163 shop-in-shops and nearly 70 monobrand stores across Europe.
The Bestseller group (Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Vila Clothes, Only, Noisy May, etc.) will launch in 2018 the premium label Postyr. In the 2015-16 fiscal year, the group generated a revenue of €3.07 billion, up 5% over the previous year.
