Bestseller: Dorthe Scherling Nielsen named as head of corporate affairs

Two months after the nomination of Thoms Borglum Jensen to the post of financial director, Bestseller announced the arrival of Dorthe Scherling Nielsen on August 18 as the head of corporate affairs. 
 

The post is a new one for the Danish ready-to-wear group, which is head of 23 brands including Jack & Jones; Vero Moda and Only. Dorthe Scherling Nielsen, head of corporate affairs for Bestseller, will be tasked with the brand's sustainable development, legal affairs and communication.

Her responsibilities will be largely familiar after undertaking similar tasks during her four years at Nike’s headquarters in Oregon. In order to fulfil her new role, Nielsen will return to Denmark where she has previously worked for many years for the wind turbine manufacturer Vestas.
